Bannock County property owners can expect to receive their 2025 property tax bills in the coming days. Treasurer Jennifer Clark’s office mailed the bills, along with an informational flyer, on Thursday, Nov. 20.
Because Dec. 20 falls on a Saturday, this year property taxes are due the following Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Payments postmarked or received after the deadline will be considered late, and applicable late fees and interest will be added to the base tax amount.
For the December installment, property owners may choose to pay their taxes in full or submit only the first-half payment. The second-half installment is due by Monday, June 22, 2026, because the 20th again falls on a Saturday. To avoid late fees and interest, the second-half payment must be received or postmarked by that date. If the second-half installment becomes delinquent, interest will accrue from January 1 until the taxes are paid in full.
Failure to Receive Notice: Not receiving a tax notice does not exempt property owners from late charges or interest for non-payment. (Idaho Code 63-902(9)). If you do not receive your tax bill by Friday, Dec. 5, the Treasurer’s Office encourages folks to call their office to confirm the delivery address.
Property owners may pay by credit/debit card*, check**, money order, or cash. A parcel number is required for all payment methods. Payments may be submitted by mail, drop box, online, by phone, or in person.
