Public Safety Assessment (PSA)

Beginning January 3, 2023, the Bannock County Adult Probation and Pretrial Department will begin using the Public Safety Assessment (PSA) to assess people charged with a crime. The information gathered from the assessment will be provided to arraignment judges to help them determine if the defendant may be successfully released pretrial and, if so, under what conditions.
