Planning & Development returning to previous permitting software

by | Mar 21, 2024 | Newsroom

We would like to extend our gratitude for your patience and understanding as we have worked through the implementation of our new permitting software – Cityworks. We have always valued your feedback and suggestions regarding our systems and processes.

After careful consideration, we have decided to transition away from Cityworks and revert to utilizing OpenGov for our permitting needs. We believe that this change will address the issues raised by you and your colleagues and will contribute to a smoother and more efficient working relationship between our organization and its permittees.

We understand that transitioning software platforms may pose some challenges, and we are committed to providing any necessary support. Our team will be available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during this transition period.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this transition. Your feedback and continued cooperation are essential as we strive to improve our processes and better serve our community.

If you have any further questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to Tristan Bourquin or Hal Jensen at 208.236.7230.

Thank you once again for your collaboration and support.

Bannock County is partnering with Portneuf Valley Development to begin a preliminary effort to gauge resident interest about the potential role of advanced nuclear energy in our county's future.

We want to hear from you.

We invite all residents to share their perspectives by completing a brief survey. Your feedback will help officials understand the community's stance before any further steps are considered.

The survey is available now through April 9.
