The Bannock County Assessor’s Office is responsible for assessing all property in the county. It is the Assessor’s duty to determine equitable values on both real and personal property for tax purposes. Determining the value of real and personal property is the first step in property tax administration. The Assessor also acts as the agent of the Idaho Transportation Department in titling and registering vehicles.
