The Bannock County Fairgrounds in Downey, Idaho, host the annual Bannock County Fair and Rodeo. The grounds feature arenas, a covered pavilion, an exhibit hall, and livestock barns—ideal for a classic fair experience. We maintain these facilities to support a safe, welcoming environment for all. The growing 4-H program, funded by the Fairgrounds Fund and run by the Agriculture Extension office, offers valuable learning and social opportunities for local youth.

Lease Requirements
- A refundable security deposit is required once the contract is signed. Deposits are refundable if the county is notified of cancellation 30 days prior to the event or upon final inspection of facilities, provided there has been no damage and the facility is returned in the same condition as received (clean).
- Alcohol is not permitted without a proper permit present at the event. Bannock County issues permits for $20.
- A Certificate of Insurance is required. More details are available in the rental agreement.

Type of Rentals & Fees
STANDARD EVENTS / FEES: Capacity of less than 150 and/or events with minimal to no risk, production, use of resources and/or hard costs. Fees include the venue/space, arena or room configuration, and equipment (chairs, desks, tables, stage, rodeo equipment, panes, and sound system) assigned to that space. Includes power, water and internet, of minimal use and initial area prep.
NON STANDARD EVENTS / FEES: Capacity of more than 150 and/or with a significant amount of risk, production, or use of resources and hard costs. Fees are determined by Bannock County Facilities management with consideration of additional risk, production equipment, use of resources and hard costs.
