by | Jul 17, 2025 | Coroner Press Releases, Highlights, Newsroom

Pocatello, ID — Family Services Alliance (FSA) is proud to announce Bannock County Coroner Torey Danner as the 2025 Partner of the Year. Danner was honored for his outstanding commitment to supporting families in crisis and advancing FSA’s mission to provide critical services to those affected by domestic and sexual violence.

Danner has played a vital role in ensuring that crisis intervention is available during traumatic situations, including suicide calls. His coordination with law enforcement and compassion for affected families has made a significant difference throughout Bannock County.

In addition to his role as Coroner, Danner also serves as co-president of the Southeast Idaho Domestic and Sexual Violence Task Force. His leadership has been instrumental in building community awareness and supporting fundraising efforts, most recently helping plan the successful Dawson Moon After Party fundraiser.

FSA presented the award to Danner during their 10th Annual Celebration of Voices on June 26, 2025, a night dedicated to recognizing the healing and strength of survivors and their families.

“We are deeply grateful for Torey’s partnership and tireless advocacy,” said Sarah O’Banion, Executive Director. “His compassion and dedication are an inspiration!”

“I’m honored to receive this award,” said Danner. “Working alongside Family Services Alliance and the Task Force is a privilege. I’m proud to support such a worthy cause and grateful to be part of a team that’s making a real difference for families in our community.”
